A typical plastic deodorant stick is made of several parts, usually all made from different types of plastic (like polypropylene):
Outer Shell / Barrel: The main body of the tube. It's often a hard, opaque plastic that protects the product.
Twist Knob / Dial: Located at the bottom. Turning this knob moves a threaded mechanism inside.
Elevator Platform: The platform that the deodorant sits on. It is pushed up by the twisting mechanism.
Cap / Lid: A plastic cover that snaps or screws on to seal the product, prevent drying, and contain the scent.
Product Itself: The solid deodorant is a mixture of active ingredients (like antiperspirants), waxes (e.g., hydrogenated castor oil), emollients, and fragrance. Its firm yet soft consistency allows it to be applied without melting.
